A new motoring law could see drivers slapped with a £1,000 fine.
Earlier this year, the Highway Code introduced a new set of laws as cyclists and pedestrians gained more priority on the roads.
Other key amendments include guidance for drivers to leave a minimum distance when overtaking cyclists.
But now motorists could be fined for having a dirty windscreen or windows according to a new wave of laws.
The Highway Code states that parts of the vehicle "must be kept clean and free from obstructions to vision".
If your case was to go to court, then the fine could increase to £5,000 with nine penalty points too.
Drivers could fall victim to the offence, especially as new laws came into place in 2022.
Recently new regulations came into place on March 25 which highlighted mobile phone usage behind the wheel.
But if a person is supervising a driver who is learning, they could face a £1,000 charge, as well as six points on their licence.
The current rules under the Highway Code also mean texting or calling while driving is illegal.
These new rules brought in last week means many grey areas have been tightened so Brits must be wary.
In 2019, the High Court ruled that an offence was committed when a phone was used for an "interactive communication function".
Calling or texting were included, but now using a phone for a purpose is seen as "reckless and dangerous".
Now drivers can no longer touch their device, take snaps or videos, access playlists or use other apps behind the wheel.
