Most of us have fond memories of enjoying a Petit Filous when we were younger (or even now – we're not judging).
The tasty little pots are perfect for lunchboxes or having as an evening treat.
However, some people are only just realising that Petit Filous aren't actually in fact a yoghurt.
Despite looking and tasting like yoghurt, it's actually made from fromage frais.
And fromage frais is made from a cheese culture rather than a yoghurt culture.
This means that Petit Filous are technically 'soft cheese'.
This comes with a slight difference in taste and texture from yoghurt, with fromage frias being a thicker consistency.
If you think that we may be pulling your leg then just take a look at the Petit Filous website.
This explains: "Petits Filous fromage frais provides your child with the goodness of Calcium and Vitamin D."
The pot also states its main ingredient as: "Fromage frais (Pasteurised semi-skimmed milk, Cream (Milk), Lactic Cultures – Milk)'.
Some people have been freaking out since finding out the information about the yummy treats.
A woman went viral on Twitter last month as she shared the fact with others.
After finding out the information, the woman, known as @caoivaa on Twitter exclaimed: "MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE."
The tweet has since racked up more than 14,000 likes as others also admitted they were stunned.
One exclaimed: "CHEESE WHAT?" as Caoimhe replied: "I know, I'm shocked and disgusted."
Another added: "Whattttt no I’m actually disgusted oh my God," as she chimed back: "Same like I will never eat one again."
A third admitted: "This news has upset me."
However, one person didn't mind as they wrote: "That must be why they’re so tasty!!!"
