Glamorous racegoers arrived at Ascot in the sunshine today for the second day of the King George Diamond Weekend, enjoying the mild weather in colourful outfits.
The King George Diamond weekend is a two-day flat racing meeting for thoroughbred horses held annually in July at Ascot.
And those in attendance were dressed to the nines, with women in bright pink, form fitting dresses and matching fascinators, while others opted for floral print gowns.
Others went for subtle animal prints in bright orange, gold and blue, while the men were smartly dressed in shirts, slacks and – in some cases – ties.
Unsurprisingly, hats were the focus of many racegoers’ outfits, with flowers, feathers and matching accessories all on display at the racecourse today.

Today’s weather was much brighter than Friday, when racegoers braved the threat of rain and a mass of looming grey clouds.
Saturday’s activities began at 1.15pm, with the last race set to take place at 5.25pm.
The event is described as ‘electric with top-quality action on the track’.
The Ascot website reads: ‘The highlight of the weekend is the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes, Europe’s indisputable midsummer middle-distance showpiece.
‘The race has seen many a great crowned victorious, including Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Brigadier Gerard, Shergar, Nashwan, Galileo and of course the mighty Enable, the only three-time winner.

‘Off the track, the racecourse is a whirlwind of colour and laughter as racegoers don summer occasionwear, catch up with friends and sample the many bars and eateries on offer under the summer sun.
‘The weekend is brought to a close with an after party at the bandstand on the Saturday evening, with Heart Radio’s Yasmin Evans on the decks.’
