The four days of festivities began with Trooping the Color
The celebration, covering four days, started with Trooping the Color on June 6.
This event marks the official birthday of the British Sovereign and has taken place for over 260 years, reported the Royal family’s official website.
Firstly, over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians come together to display military precision, horsemanship, and fanfare to mark the queen’s official birthday.
Secondly, the parade features members of the royal family on horseback and in carriages.
In addition, the display closes with an RAF fly-past.

Royal family fans were thrilled to see Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children make their procession debut.
Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four, sat in the carriage with their mother, Kate Middleton, and the Duchess of Cornwall as they passed cheering crowds.
The Cambridge children subsequently waved at the thousands of spectators that lined the roadways.
As they passed the Color in their carriage, all three children bowed their heads in respect, as did Kate and Camilla.
In addition, the trio gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony and other working members of the royal family.
Fans claimed it was “lovely” to see the children make their procession debut.

The queen will be celebrated with many other events this weekend, marking her 70 years on the throne.
These include a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday.
On Saturday, The Derby at Epsom Downs will feature Queen Elizabeth and other royal family members. That event will be followed by the Platinum Party at the Palace, featuring a night of musical tributes to celebrate the Jubilee.
