Students dress up as the ‘yellow pages’ to get people’s numbers on night out

A group of uni students have been branded as ‘geniuses’ as they dressed up as the yellow pages to get people's phone numbers on a night out.

Securing the digits of someone who has taken your fancy can at times be awkward.

Not knowing how to pose the question and worrying if you get rejected are common thoughts behind the process.

But these Bristol university students have made the flirty act a lot easier.

Ani and his two mates have put an interactive twist on ‘pulling’ by dressing up as the phone directory.

Donning white T-shirts, the mates wrote on the neckline ‘yellow pages’ with two columns listed underneath named ‘name’ and ‘number’.

Cheekily, the two blonde students wrote “call me maybe” on the back of their tops.

Armed with felt tip pens and a whole lot of confidence, the students took to the club.

And believe it or not – their plan worked.

The trio flaunted their now mobile number adorned clothing on TikTok – with the video having racked up 652,000 views.

Ani explained on TikTok: “We dressed as the yellow pages on our night out to see who could get the most numbers.”

Stunned at the gaffe, many people took to the comments to praise the idea.

One person chuckled: “I would try this but I don’t wanna get back home with an empty T-shirt.”

Another user added: “I’d try this but the sadness I’d have when I came home with an empty shirt would be too much.”

While a third person on the video sharing app voiced: “I’m socially awkward but I want to try this.”

Tagging their mates, another social media user expressed: “Let’s do this.”

As a fifth person simply remarked: “This is genius.”
