A woman has revealed how she was mercilessly mocked by two ‘mean girls’ when posing for photographs at a baseball game.
Jackie, from Texas, was attending the event with her brother when she asked him to take several images of her, some of which were later used on her Instagram account.
But while posing for the pictures, she noticed two women ‘making fun of her’. She posted a clip of the ‘mean girls’ laughing and imitating her while sitting a few rows behind.
At one point, one of the women even starts to record Jackie (jackielabonita) and calls her ‘lame’. The text-to-speech playing over the top of the video then explained: ‘Realizing they were talking about me. Feeling super self-conscious. I wanted to cry.’
Jackie captioned the clip: ‘Please be nice #meangirls #meangirlvibes,’ but later admitted in a follow-up video that the women – who have since apologized – had received ‘threats’ and ‘harassment’ after the original footage went viral.

The original clip, which was posted on April 22 and has 8.2million likes so far, showed Jackie posing for photos at the Minute Maid Park. The stadium in Houston, Texas, is home to the Houston Astros baseball team.
But while Jackie worked her best angles, dressed in a sports jacket with a black crop top and shorts, two women appeared to laugh and imitate the influencer from two rows behind.
‘Watch my confidence disappear after these random girls make fun of me for taking pictures,’ the caption over the video said.
Comments have been turned off on the clip, however reaction to the video spilled over onto other TikTok videos and Twitter.
In a follow-up video, shared on two days ago, Jackie explained that the two women were receiving ‘threats’ and ‘harassment’.
Captioned: ‘I was really nervous but I needed to update y’all, thank you again for the support,’ Jackie said in the video that she strongly opposed the online harassment the two women were facing.
She began: ‘I just wanted to start off by saying thank you, so much, to those who have been so kind and supportive over the past few days.
‘I would never have thought that my brother taking pictures of me at a game for three minutes would turn into all of this.

‘After posting my video, I received several responses of people being able to relate to the same thing that happened to me that evening.
‘And it’s become clear that bullying doesn’t just stop in childhood or teenage years, but it can follow you into adulthood – and that’s a little concerning. It usually gets swept under the rug.’
She continued: Even though my feelings were hurt that night, there was no need for more hurt.’
Jackie added that the women and their families ‘do not deserve hurt’.
‘I do not condone the threats. I don’t condone the bullying. I don’t condone the harassment to them or anyone else,’ she said.
She added that she had met with the women and discussed the situation. The two women apologised, said Jackie.
‘Yesterday, we met under mediated circumstances, in a completely voluntary meeting, in order to express and reflect upon this experience and our actions that evening,’ she said. ‘They both gave me an in-person apology and, honestly, that’s all I wanted.’
Jackie added that she forgave them, saying she ‘hopes this experience makes us more aware of each other’s feelings and more empathetic towards one another.’
