‘Upset’ woman questions if she’s over-reacting after boyfriend proposes in Asda

Proposals could take weeks or even months of planning.

Recently a bloke revealed how he proposed to his boyfriend using a mirror's reflection to unveil the all-important question.

The truly unique style went viral on Twitter after the man shared details of the special moment.

Now we know when it comes to popping the question, it's a time you'll never want to forget.

But sadly for one woman, she's not so pleased by her boyfriend's so-called romantic gesture after it happened in Asda.

In an anonymous post on parenting forum Netmums, she told how she was "extremely upset" that her partner hadn't made an effort.

Her post read: "My boyfriend recently proposed to me in Asda?

"I'm sorry but what the hell. Out of everywhere, why there?

"Am I over-reacting? I love him but I'm extremely upset that he didn't even make slight effort to make this special for me."

Dozens of people have since responded to the woman's post, with many divided over what to really think.

Some Netmums users agreed she had a right to be upset, while others thought she should just be grateful.

One said: "I cannot imagine what it was about Asda that inspired him to take that step.

"And yes a bit of thought and planning would not have hurt… I think the question is, how do you feel about marrying him?"

Another added: "At least he loved you enough to propose in first place shouldn't matter where it was."
