Woman defies trolls who call her ‘fat, ugly dog’ with seriously sexy bikini pics

An influencer who isn’t afraid of confronting the hate she receives online has shared some of the awful comments she experiences.

Karina Irby, from the sunny beaches of Brisbane, Australia, regularly defies trolls by sharing uplifting and unedited pics of herself on Instagram.

While the 32-year-old is known for her empowering account with 1.1million followers, she also owns the brand Moana Bikini, which is all about female empowerment.

She recently uploaded a video sharing some of the hateful messages she receives and also shared her advice to others who may be dealing with negative opinions.

Some of the awful comments include: “Ugly whale with zero class, go shake it somewhere else”, ‘She thinks she is pretty like this? Awful”, “She needs to lose weight to be honest” and, “Fat ugly dog.”

While many would be left devastated by these words, Karina used it as a teachable moment.

Her advice? Ignore the haters.

“Don’t listen to the noise. So many of us get upset and caught up with the opinions of other people. Some people are close to us, others have never met us,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.

“Here are the top reasons people try to tear you down: their own insecurities, their ego, their environment and their upbringing and beliefs.

“So, next time someone has an uncalled-for and/or negative opinion of you, or what you’re doing, just remember it truly says more about them than you.”

Karina said their negative opinions could also be because they’re jealous of you.

She continued: “You’re probably doing things that they have always wanted to do! Or always wanted to succeed in. Or you’re wearing something they always wanted to.

“But instead of cheering you on, they have to bring you down because how dare YOU have the drive or confidence to do something that scares them or looks out of the ordinary or out of the comfortable little box they’ve created for themselves.

“I always think it’s better to polarise opinion than for no one to have an opinion on you at all.”

While some people told her to ignore the comments completely, Karina previously told Daily Star why she likes to share them with her followers.

“The only reason I love to screenshot and post some really nasty comments is because I want to prove to the people watching that people can call you any name they want but it’s up to you whether you take it on board or not. The option is there for you not to,” she said.

“At the end of the day, you can have a dance, shake it off and make fun of the situation instead of taking it personally and getting quite upset.”

While Karina is used to receiving these hateful remarks online, she is also flooded with love and support from her loyal followers.

Her post has gained thousands of likes and comments from people disagreeing with the trolls..

"I adore you and you are one of my favourite people I follow on social media. You are real and raw and I appreciate how vulnerable and authentic you are. You are incredibly beautiful and an inspiration," one person wrote.

"It is funny how jealous people get. You are a stunner and not only a stunner, but also an extremely successful businesswoman living her best life in one of the most beautiful places in the world," another commented.

A third added: "Sorry. Got distracted by how *STUNNING* you are. What were they saying?"
