Woman marrying a GHOST admits it was difficult to find a church

Bride who’s set to wed a GHOST leaves This Morning viewers bemused as she admits it was difficult to find a church that would marry them – and claims her husband-to-be doesn’t like Phillip Schofield

  • Singer Brocarde, 38, from Oxfordshire, appeared on the ITV programme today
  • She said she planned to marry the spirit, named Eduardo, a Victorian soldier
  • Later on, she claimed the ghost was on the This Morning set with her

A woman due to marry a ghost later today left This Morning in hysterics after she claimed her ghost lover appeared on set with her.

Brocarde, a 38-year-old singer from Oxfordshire, who claims she is in love with the ghost of a Victorian soldier named Edoardo appeared on the ITV show today, to share the details of their nuptials.

Halfway through her interview with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Brocarde shrieked and revealed Edoardo was ‘here,’ on set with her.

She added that the spirit, who once ‘ghosted’ her for a week, was not pleased with her talking about him on TV, and that he doesn’t like Phillip Schofield.

Viewers and the show’s presenters, including Alison Hammond, who was heard cackling in the background during Brocarde’s segment, were amused by the spiritual singer’s unconventional love story.

Dressed in a black wedding dress, Brocarde, who claims she met Edoardo during a thunderstorm as she struggled to sleep following a disagreement with a friend, said she was looking forward to her nuptials earlier today.

As she began her interview, she shrieked suddenly, causing Holly Willoughby, who was dressed as Wednesday Adsams, to jump.

She was seen holding the bridal crown that tied her black veil to her head and claimed Edoardo had hit it.

‘He’s here,’ she said.

Immediately, Phil, who was dressed as Uncle Fester, began to move around the couch, and pointed out he ‘couldn’t see him.’

Brocarde then told Phil that Edoardo ‘doesn’t like you,’ to which the presenter replied: ‘well, that’s fair enough, I’m not marrying him.

‘Sorry, he can be rude sometimes,’ Brocarde apologised.

Resuming the wedding talk, she admitted she found it difficult to find a church that would marry them.

‘Because I think there is a bit of an issue with religion and the after life. Not all priests believe…’

Brocarded said she struggled to find a church that would marry Edoardo and her, because not all priests believed he exists

Holly found Edoardo’s appearance on the show particularly spooky and hid behind a cushion when he ‘appeared’

As she spoke, ‘Edoardo’ knocked her headpiece once again, and the singer said: ‘Edoardo has ruined my wedding day by making me look like an idiot on TV.

‘Maybe he doesn’t like it. Do you think it’s a sign,’ she asked Phil and Holly.

‘Well, the last time you came and talked about him on the show, he ghosted you for a week,’ Phil said, with Brocarde agreeing: ‘He did ghost me for a week.’

This declaration caused Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson, who were waiting for the next segment dressed as Morticia Addams and Lurch, to cackle in the background.

‘Maybe he doesn’t approve of being spoken about,’ Brocarde continued.

Phil was determined to get the spirit to perform a trick for him and asked: ‘Edoardo, I wonder whether there is any way you could make my script move or… something.

Brocarde became doubting the relationship after her appearance on the show, and revealed she had second thoughts

‘Is there anything you could do, Edoardo? Can you flicker candles for Brocarde,’ he asked.

‘He said don’t test him,’ Brocarde said.

The wife-to-be said she hoped Edoardo would still be standing at the altar after her appearance on This Morning, to which Phil deadpanned: ‘how will you know?’

She replied: ‘Well I will feel his presence.’

Brocarde revealed she didn’t believe in ghosts before she ‘met’ Edoardo, but was turned around by the spirit.

‘I had tears streaming down my face. It was really intense, and I think it was the fact that it was so intense that converted me.

Viewers were taken by the story of Brocarde’s unusual romance and the ‘appearance’ of her fiancé on the show.

‘Barely a week goes by where someone’s not marrying or having sex with a ghost of something else inappropriate.

‘Did anyone else cackle when they head the lady had been ghosted like Alison and Josie’

‘Hilarious,’ one said.

‘My mum genuinely believes this woman on This Mornin and honestly how,’ another asked.
