MANCHESTER UNITED star Andre Onana has withdrawn from the Cameroon squad.
The goalkeeper picked up a groin injury during Friday's clash against Mauritius and had to be substituted.
Cameroon confirmed Onana was forced to withdraw from the squad after undergoing tests with the medical team.
The team said in a statement: "The Cameroonian football federation informs public opinion that player Andre Onana, injured and out injured during the match against Mauritius on November 17 in Douala, is not part of the delegation of the Indomitable Lions currently in Benghazi.
"The medical imaging carried out by the doctors of the national selection revealed a condition in the pubis.
"Fecafoot (Cameroon FA) wishes a speedy recovery to the Cameroonian international."
It is a big blow for Onana who was beginning to find his feet at United.
He could face weeks on the sidelines which means Erik ten Hag could have to call upon No2 Altay Bayındır.
The Turk is yet to make his Red Devils debut since arriving from Fenerbahce in the summer.
United signed Bayindir in a £4.3million deadline day move.
