Arsenal are also being linked with high-profile moves for Brighton's Ben White and Lyon talent Houssem Aouar.
However, the Gunners will first need to offload a few players before completing more signings.
Here, SunSport take a closer look at the FOUR most likely Arsenal departures this summer, according to odds supplied by bookmakers Betfair.
Granit Xhaka – 1/3
Midfielder Xhaka is the most likely exit at odds of 1/3.
The Swiss international has been heavily tipped to join Roma with new manager Jose Mourinho eager to secure his services.
Reports claim Xhaka had agreed personal terms with the Italian heavyweights earlier this summer but the transfer fee remains an issue.
Calciomercato claim the two parties are around £5m apart in their valuations with Arsenal looking £17m.
Arsenal most likely departures – Betfair odds
- Granit Xhaka – 1/3
- Hector Bellerin – 10/11
- Joe Willock – 10/11
- Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 6/4
Hector Bellerin – 10/11
The full-back's ten-year relationship with Arsenal could be coming to a close.
Bellerin has made 239 appearances for the first team, scoring nine goals and providing 29 assists.
Inter Milan are his most likely destination as the Serie A champions look to replace Achraf Hakimi.
The 26-year-old is odds-on at 10/11 to leave North London this summer.
Joe Willock – 10/11
The box-to-box midfielder looks set to rejoin Newcastle on a season-long loan.
Willock was outstanding during his short stint at St James' Park, scoring eight goals in 14 appearances – including seven in his last seven games.
The 21-year-old wants regular first-team football and is unlikely to get that at his parent club.
Betfair make it a 10/11 chance that Willock leaves the Gunners before the transfer window closes on September 3.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles – 6/4
The utility man is available at 6/4 to leave Arsenal this summer.
Maitland-Niles faces an uncertain future at the Emirates having never held down a starting place for a sustained period.
The 23-year-old had a brief spell at West Brom during the 2020-21 campaign, where he was deployed in his favoured central midfield role.
Maitland-Niles is well down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta and has recently been linked with promoted Watford.
