Arsenal ‘want to poach two of Man Utd’s top scouts’ to help find the next generation of stars after academy shake-up – The Sun

ARSENAL want to poach two of Manchester United's leading scouts as part of a major scouting overhaul, it has been claimed.

Dave Harrison and Lyndon Tomlinson – who joined United from rivals Manchester City in 2017 – are widely regarded as the best in their field and the Gunners are reportedly keen.

Having kick-started a transformation of their youth set up, Arsenal are poised to make a move for the pair, according to the Mail.

And the Gunners are also said to be keen on Manchester City's head of youth recruitment Joe Shields who they would like to see play a leading role in their new structure.

Steve Morrow – Arsenal's former head of youth recruitment – was the first casualty of the shake up.

And more heads are likely to role as the North Londoners try to get ahead of the game in the hunt for the next big star.

The move may come as a surprise to some given Arsenal's wealth of young talent currently coming through.
