MANCHESTER CITY are considering an appeal against the £40,000 fine dished out to full-back Bacary Sagna for his "10 v 12" Instagram post after their 2-1 win against Burnley.

The Etihad club are shocked at the severity of the punishment for their French defender.

Sagna used his Instagram page to post "10 v 12" in the aftermath of City's win over Burnley on January 2.
