Watford v Liverpool

As much as you’ve got the prospect of a new manager bounce with Watford, this is a very tricky game for Claudio Ranieri to begin life at Vicarage Road and I’m fully expecting the three points to head back to Anfield.

It’s difficult to look past Mo Salah at the minute. Nine goals in nine games this season, only one game in which he hasn’t scored, and look at that goal he scored against Manchester City, the way he danced and shimmied past the defence, it was just incredible.

BoyleSports are boosting Liverpool to win either 2-0 or 3-0 out to 7/2 from 11/4 and I don’t think Claudio will be buying any pizzas for his side for a clean sheet here, I’m looking at 3-0.

Watford 0-3 Liverpool 8/1

Leicester City v Manchester United

This is no easy game for Manchester United, but this isn’t the same Leicester of recent years either and they’ve stuttered their way through the season so far.

I know injuries have played a big part, but they are lacking a defensive steel that United should be able to exploit. United haven’t been at their best either with only one clean sheet all season and they’re looking for their first win in three in the league.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was criticised for not starting Cristiano Ronaldo against Everton, but I’m sure he’ll be back looking for his sixth goal since returning and when you’ve got someone like him in your side, you know you have a game changer.

Manchester United to win & both teams to score 11/4

Brentford v Chelsea

It’s so far so good for Brentford and I’m hoping we can deliver against a Chelsea side who I’m quite scared of.

23 goals have been scored in the last six games involving Brentford and 15 of them have gone to The Bees, so we have goals in the team. We’ve been competitive in every game, fought until the end and even in games where I feared we’d fall away, like Liverpool, we just kept going.

There is a real resilience that Thomas Frank has brought this season and while Thomas Tuchel may have the strength in depth not to worry about a Champions League tie next week, I’m going for a 2-2 draw.

Brentford 2-2 Chelsea 16/1

Newcastle United v Tottenham

It’s going to be electric. The fans are going there full of hope and expectation of a new era and Tottenham are going there to spoil the party.

There is already so much in the Newcastle side that excites me. They’ve had 93 shots so far, so there are encouraging signs; the problem is that nobody has conceded more goals in the Premier League this season to date than the Magpies. That is something the manager will be looking to solve.

If Callum Wilson returns and Allan Saint-Maximin plays in his natural position, I think they can deliver and the St James’ Park faithful could roar them to success. I do think both teams will score, but I have sneaky feeling Newcastle could win this one.

Newcastle to win & both teams to score 5/1
