THE Chelsea board are holding an emergency meeting after new sanctions were imposed on the club.
Roman Abramovich has had his assets frozen by the government which means Chelsea are no longer able to carry out business as normal.
But there are now fears the club could enter administration with restrictions on ticket and merchandise sales.
Chairman Bruce Buck is set to chair the emergency meeting with Marina Granovskaia, Guy Laurence, Eugene Tenenbaum and David Barnard in attendance.
Their biggest fear will be the dilapidated revenue streams, with all areas of the club hit hard.
In fact, under the special license imposed by the government Chelsea's only source of income will be the food and drink sold on matchdays.

The Newcastle game on Sunday will be the last ordinary fans are able to attend – as long as they have already purchased tickets.
After that only season ticket holders will be allowed into Stamford Bridge, meaning there will be no away fans in attendance for the remainder of the season.
That is likely to have a detrimental impact on Chelsea's finances, and there could soon be more damaging developments.
Shirt sponsors Three are considering the termination of their commercial partnership with the club.
