Conor McGregor says 'I've woken up as my younger self' and shares pic of son who looks exact double of him as a kid | The Sun

CONOR MCGREGOR claimed “I've woken up as my younger self” as he shared a snap of his young boy – who looks the exact double of himself as a kid.

The 34-year-old has not fought since suffering a horrific broken leg in his defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021 at UFC 264.

He appears to be closing in on a return to the octagon with a potential bout against Michael Chandler.

A date for McGregor's eagerly-anticipated clash with Chandler has yet to be announced.

But footage of Notorious SHOVING the American has been released ahead of the return of The Ultimate Fighter.

The lightweight standouts coached opposite one another on season 31 of the long-running reality TV show – which was filmed in Las Vegas earlier this year.

McGregor has previously stated that he believes his sons Conor Jr and Rian will continue his fighting name.

Ever since Jr was born in 2017, the youngster has been a regular fixture in McGregor's training team.

The former two-weight UFC champion often shares adorable snaps of his eldest copying him in the gym and he now has two boys who could potentially follow in his footsteps.

The Irish superstar was quizzed on Conor Jr possibly taking up MMA as a career when he is older, to which he responded in a Twitter Q&A: “That kid of mine is going to do whatever he wants in this world.

“I will support him all the way tho whatever he chooses! I feel he will do it tho. I feel his younger brother Rían will also.

“Interesting times ahead. I will be happy just as long as they are happy.”
