CHELSEA'S shambolic management this season has been put into stark focus by a baffling N'Golo Kante stat.
The French midfielder started against Real Madrid in the Champions League – meaning his last four appearances have been under FOUR different managers.
Kante, 32, has endured a miserable season with injury, making just five appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
Wednesday's quarter-final clash was the first game Kante played in since Frank Lampard returned to the club as interim manager.
It came just a week after the former Leicester ace made his first Premier League start since August against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
That game was played under Bruno Saltor – just 48 hours after manager Graham Potter was sacked.

Days before that, Kante made his first appearance under Potter after eight months out after coming on as a sub in the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
Way back in August he played under Thomas Tuchel in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham before his injury woes began.
Fans were baffled by the incredible stat on social media and didn't think Chelsea would stop at Lampard, with one saying: "The 5th manager is loading."
Another said: "Fifth match is a charm! Kanté will definitely perform better under Zidane next game."
