A DOCUMENTARY following the life of star jockey Daryl Jacob is to launch on ITV this Friday.
It takes in the highs and lows of Jacob's career, ending in a memorable winner at last year's Cheltenham Festival.
And Jacob hopes it will shed some light on what it's really like to be part of the weighing room.
Next week will be a busy one at Cheltenham for Jacob, with the likes of Lieutenant Rocco, Fusil Raffles and If The Cap Fits headlining an exciting book of rides.
He said: "Just look at me on Thursday. I went all the way to Carlisle in the car for one ride. That's six hours there and six back, and then the horse nearly fell at the last and threw the race away!
"These are the things people don't think about.
"I'm looking forward to getting this out there. It's an insight to what we all do on a daily basis.
"People see Cheltenham Festival, Aintree and Royal Ascot. But there's a lot of groundwork that goes into even getting to these days, and as everyone knows there's a lot of risk too.
"There are a lot of headaches, a lot of pain, emotional ups and downs, dieting and driving.
"If people can watch it and understand what we go through on a daily basis, even if it touches one person.
"I haven't had a smooth ride through my whole career and people will see that. If one person can take inspiration through my career then I'll be very, very proud.

"I like it when people achieve things. I like it when the underdog wins, people that are struggling -I like it when you see that they can turn their lives around.
"The boss always said to me you might have a crap day today, but you need to turn over the page tomorrow and write a new chapter. That's the life I've tried to live."
