RALF RANGNICK says he sympathises with protesters after the Carrington Training Ground was stormed.
Around 30 disgruntled fans marched past a security barrier and got to the main gates of the facility.
They are unhappy at the Glazers' ownership of the club and recent results.
Rangnick said: “We all know football is a game of passion and emotions, we can all understand, I can understand our supporters are disappointed with our standing in the table and the performance we showed at Everton, at least after we conceded that first goal.
“But I still believe our supporters are one of the best if not the best in England and as long as they do that protest in a peaceful way and support the team in the stadium, they have a right to express their opinion… I can understand they are disappointed.”
The protests mirrored those of exactly a year ago against the European Super League proposals.

On that occasion, the protesters got right to the main building and then-boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his assistant Michael Carrick and Nemanja Matic came out to try and appease them.
On this occasion, the club was prepared and had already shut the main gates.
The protest was peaceful although a few fans expressed their frustration to substitute goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
He was stuck in his car in a queue of traffic stopped temporarily by security as police tried to clear the protest.

A club statement said after today's demonstration: "There was a small and peaceful protest outside the Carrington training ground today. We respect the opinion of fans and remain committed to strengthening our engagement with them."
Another protest march on Old Trafford is expected ahead of the club’s Premier League match against Norwich.
United fans are also set to shun the first 17 minutes of the game and stay in concourses before going to their seats in protest at the Glazers' 17 years in charge.
A year ago the club’s game against Liverpool was called off after more than a thousand protesters marched on the ground.
It was due to be played behind closed doors because of Covid restrictions but a number still forced their way into the ground.

The game against rock-bottom Norwich comes a week after the team lost 1-0 away to relegation-threatened Everton.
But interim boss Ralf Rangnick insists his reign since taking charge of his first game on December 5 has not all been bad.
He said: “We have had moments, situations and games and spells where we played well, where we showed the team would be able to play on a higher level.
“If I can think about games we played against Crystal Palace, West Ham, Tottenham, Leeds, and until the 70th min against Aston Villa, we had quite a few games we played well as a team.
“What we couldn't do is do it in a sustainable way and for a longer period of time.

“I'm disappointed by that, I thought we could have played sustainably on a higher level. I'm not happy with that for sure but this is what we will try to do for the rest of the season.”
Rangnick is without five players for the game with Fred, Scot McTominay, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani and Luke Shaw all out injured.
