Eagle-eyed fans fear Conor McGregor is injured after they spot nasty mark on elbow ahead of Dustin Poirier UFC trilogy

EAGLE-EYED Conor McGregor fans believe the star could be injured after spotting a nasty mark on his elbow.

The Irishman collides with Dustin Poirier for a third time at UFC 264 on July 10.

The pair first fought at UFC 178 when Notorious claimed victory via a first round knockout.

Diamond then took the honours in January at UFC 257 with a second round KO.

Their highly-anticipated rubber match is now just nine days away, but many worried fans believe that McGregor could be carrying an injury.

Those fears come after a photo of him cycling topless was shared online, and it appeared to show a mark on his left elbow.

That led to speculation, and it remains unclear whether it is just a nasty scrape or cut.

One fan commented: “It’s an elbow thrown to something, that’s what happens.”

Another said: “Hahaha there's the excuse if he gets f***ed up again hahaha.”

A fellow supporter wrote: “He's in training camp, could be friction burn from grappling on the mats, or from elbowing the heavy bag.”

As another simply said: “I’m worried.”

Multi-millionaire McGregor insisted ahead of the fight that his dedication to the sport remains as strong as ever.

The 32-year-old said: “I'm proud of my accomplishments. I'm a veteran now, I've gone through it all.

“I've been on every stage, every situation. There's a lot of dedication and a lot of sacrifices that goes into this game.

“But make no mistake, competing inside the octagon is what I love to do the most.

“More than anything, more than any fame. Competing under those bright lights is the true test of your character.”
