DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN was forced off with a head injury during the first half of Everton's clash with Aston Villa.
The England striker clashed with Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez early on in the match.
He bravely tried to play on after receiving treatment in the 11th minute.
But he was subsequently replaced by Arnaut Danjuma in the 38th minute when it became obvious that he shouldn't continue.
Luckless Calvert-Lewin has been blighted by injuries in recent seasons.
He has missed matches with a fractured toe as well as hamstring and knee injuries since the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign.
