Golf superstars Fowler, Speith, Thomas and Wags enjoy a pint in London pub and trip to Wimbledon ahead of Open | The Sun

GOLF superstars Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas were spotted enjoying a pint in London as they prepare for the Open Championship.

They also sampled the London sporting scene as they spent the day at Wimbledon.



The trio were enjoying some time off with their wives as they look ahead to playing in golf's oldest tournament.

They have struck up a close-knit relationship away from the course despite their rivalries on it.

Last month Rickie Fowler confirmed that the trio were interested in buying a stake in Leeds amid the club's takeover by the owners of the San Francisco 49ers.

Thomas uploaded the photos to his Instagram with a caption that read: "London photo dump.

Punters would have been surprised to see the trio, who have five Major titles between them, in the Covent Garden pub.

Spieth's wife Anie Verret is pregnant with the couple's second child – with the pair being married since 2018.

The two jointly run the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation which has a mission statement of: helping people with special needs, junior golfers, helping military families and to treat pedriatic cancer.

The two married in 2022 in a low key affair.

Fowler has been married to wife Allison Stokke since 2019 with the couple having a daughter, Maya, who was born in 2021.

Stokke was a college athlete pole vaulter, with the peak of her career coming in the trials for the London 2012 Olympic games.

The golfers and their wives were on Wimbledon's centre court to watch Novak Djokovic's victory over Hubert Hurkacz as part of his quest to win a 24th Grand Slam.

The Serbian won 7-6 (6) 7-6 (6) 5-7 6-4 victory in a gruelling contest as he looks for an eighth Wimbledon victory.

The trio of golfers are now in Scotland to prepare for the Genesis Scottish open, which begins tomorrow.

The Open Championship in Liverpool will begin next Thursday.
