TOR could score. Backed when below par in hot contest at York latest on the back of a smooth success on the Rowley course here in April. Trip suits and he’s capable of better.

YES Ser. Went down in a tight finish at Ayr last time over 7f but this trip may suit better. Booking of Buick takes the eye and the first-time visor may help. Chance.

FIND the Lady. Looked good last season but hasn’t fired yet this term. Likes this trip on fast ground so could outrun her long odds.

DOR open. Outpaced over 5f last time but much better at this trip with a win on the Rowley course here. Is only 3lb higher than that mark so can’t be discounted.

LIL GUFF 3

LIL looks big. Much better than fifth suggests at Newbury last time and this trip is ideal. Would ideally like the ground a bit softer but is another who looks overpriced.

AZURE BLUE 3

AZURE sure. Easy Hamilton win before another decent second at Ripon latest. Creeping up the weights but should run another good race.

BRIGHT Knight. Consistent and battled well to score at Windsor latest over this trip. Fast ground is ideal and a 3lb rise in the weights looks fair enough.

LOOKS Lethal. Went close here last time after winning at Haydock and running a cracker at York. He’s off the same mark over an ideal trip so could nick a place.

BEAU goes. Finished well when second over 5f latest so should enjoy this trip. Up fair 3lb for that seasonal return and he can take a step forward here.

BIG Show. Rare blip at York latest after two excellent runs on the Knavesmire earlier this season. Not been clobbered by the handicapper and may bounce back.

BEAR PROFIT 3

BEAR with him. Solid third on handicap debut here last time. That was just his fourth run so there should be more to come but this is tougher.

Templegate tip

YES we Khan in Newmarket’s 3.00.

KHANJAR was impressive when scoring on handicap debut at Ripon last time. He loved this trip and has a lot more to offer for in-form trainer William Haggas.

Deodar should be happier at this trip after a decent effort over 7f here last time. He travelled well for a long way.

Ingra Tor can bounce back from one modest run, while Aasser and Bosh are others for the shortlist.
