Jake Paul claims he earns more than every UFC fighter COMBINED

‘I’m a f***ing CEO and every UFC fighter is an employee!’: Jake Paul rips into MMA community as he claims he earns more money than every ‘silly motherf***er’ in the UFC COMBINED – including Conor McGregor

  • Jake Paul took his professional boxing record to 5-0 in Florida at the weekend
  • He knocked out former UFC star Tyron Woodley in the pair’s Tampa rematch
  • Paul is a trash-talker and claims he earns more than all UFC fighters combined
  • The YouTuber-turned-boxer even believes he earns more than Conor McGregor

Jake Paul has taken more shots at the UFC by claiming he earns more as a boxer than all of their fighters combined – including Conor McGregor.

Paul has long had a contentious relationship with UFC boss Dana White and the world of Mixed Martial Arts since he committed to professional boxing.

After knocking out former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in their rematch in Florida at the weekend, Paul was keen to gloat about his mega-sized fight purses and he scoffed at the idea of any UFC fighter coming close to them.

Paul has now come out to claim he earns more than every UFC fighter combined – including ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor (pictured left, against Nate Diaz at UFC 202 back in 2016)

Speaking on his brother Logan’s podcast, he said: ‘I make more than every UFC fighter f***ing combined, including Conor.

‘Y’all work for f***ing Dana, y’all work for WME, Endeavor, that’s who you work for.

‘I make more than all of you silly motherf***ers. Why would I go into the UFC? Sign a contract and give away my f***ing rights and s**t.

‘I own my content, I own my platform, I own everything. They don’t own s**t, they are literally employees. I’m a f***ing CEO and every UFC fighter is an employee. Get that straight. I’m not coming over there and doing s**t with y’all.’

Paul has already had three pay-per-view events but he should remember that McGregor’s net worth, having become one of the biggest stars in the UFC in recent years, is valued by Forbes at £135million.

McGregor is reported to have earned more than £20m from UFC fights as well as around £80m from his crossover boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul delivered around 500,000 PPV buys for his first Woodley match-up while figures from the rematch have yet to emerge.

Woodley was knocked out by Paul and the YouTuber-turned-boxer went on to call out names

Paul and Woodley’s rematch in Florida was not particularly exciting until the knockout came

He has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to criticism from White, who has routinely dismissed him as a credible fighter.

Having knocked Woodley out in Florida, Paul was quick to direct some stern words towards White.

‘I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company,’ Paul said Paul, staring into the camera.

‘Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman. Please let me get Nate Diaz. Please let me get Masvidal. Please let me get [Conor] McGregor, because I’m going to embarrass them, too. I promise you that, Dana. I promise you that.’

Jorge Masvidal, who Paul called out after the Woodley KO, has since demanded $20million (£15m) from Jake Paul after the YouTuber-turned-boxer offered him $5million (£3.8m) to meet him in the boxing ring.

Writing on Twitter, Masvidal cleared some things up, saying the UFC are unlikely to let him out of his contract and that if Paul is serious, he can sign a temporary deal with the MMA organisation.

Paul is brash and continues to try to rile up UFC fighters as he builds up his profile in boxing

Jorge Masvidal has laid out his terms for fighting Paul if the UFC allow him to agree to a bout

Masvidal wrote: ‘1. The UFC isn’t gonna let me go for chump change.

‘2. Make that 20 guaranteed plus PPV and I’m sure the UFC will be ok with it as long as I break them off their fee and then I’ll gladly break your face.

‘If the UFC still says no because the money is still too low then come over to the UFC, sign a 1 fight deal and we can stipulate I can only box in the cage.

‘If I do anything other than that I will forfeit my purse to you. Come on over and get paid and laid out.’

Paul has been intelligent in using the profile of UFC fighters to elevate his own stock in the boxing ring and remains undefeated.

His clash with Tommy Fury was shelved recently after Tyson’s younger half-brother pulled out with an injury so that is another fight that could be put back on the table with Tommy keen to rearrange for March.

Having watched the rematch fight with Woodley from home, Fury spoke about how upsetting it was and how desperate he is to rearrange it for early next year.

Tommy Fury spoke about his reaction to Paul’s rematch with Woodley in Florida last weekend

He told The Unibet Lowdown podcast: ”I’ve been in probably the lowest point I’ve ever been in in my entire life. Imagine having everything you could have ever dreamed of ripped away through no fault of your own.

‘I know if I was in there it wouldn’t have gone six or seven rounds. For the first four or five rounds, the guy didn’t throw a punch. That was meant to be my night, my time.’

He added: ‘It will be me and I do believe my time will come. We’re trying to get that fight rescheduled because that’s the fight I want next. Afterwards he was calling out all these MMA people.

‘I don’t get what he’s trying to achieve by calling out UFC people, he wants to be a boxer doesn’t he? So fight boxers. In a cage they’d kill him any day of the week.’
