Jordi Alba 'set for Inter Milan transfer after decade at Barcelona as clubs reach agreement over loan move' | The Sun

JORDI ALBA is reportedly set to leave Barcelona and join Inter Milan on loan.

A number of reports have emerged regarding the 33-year-old full-back’s exit.

The Spanish international moved to the Nou Camp back in 2012 from Valencia.

He has made over 300 appearances for the club and helped them win numerous honours.

Alba lifted the Champions League in 2015 and has won five LaLiga titles during that period.

Now the veteran looks to be heading for a new adventure in Italy at the San Siro.

According to journalist Gerard Romero, Barcelona and Inter have reached an agreement over a loan deal.

That would allegedly see the Serie A side pay between 40 and 60 per cent of the star’s salary.

But Alba, who remains under contract until 2024 at Barca, still has to agree to the switch.

Barcelona are desperately trying to free up wages in order to bring in new recruits.

They are believed to have negotiated a deal with Chelsea that would see Marcos Alonso come in as a replacement for Alba.

And that package would also see striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was the shocking victim of a robbery at his home last weekend, go to Stamford Bridge in exchange.

Meanwhile, according to Fabrizio Romano, Sergino Dest is also close to leaving Barcelona.

He is set to join AC Milan on loan with an option to buy.
