LEICESTER CITY's target Adrien Silva will stay at Sporting after a club statement claimed he will terminate his career at the club.
Boss Claudio Ranieri looks to build a squad for Champions League clashes late this window, but priority target Silva will not make the move.
A club statement, on Monday, said: "It was absolutely clear that this extension of the attachment [a contract extension signed in February] to Sporting CP meant Adrien Silva would be at the club until the end of his career," the statement read.
