LIVERPOOL are reportedly weighing up a bid to sign Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich this summer.
The Reds are lining up the French winger as a replacement for Divock Origi and to boost their forward options.
Coman, 25, is out of contract next summer and Bayern are said to be keen on extending his stay.
But the German giants also face losing him on a free in 2023 if a new deal can't be agreed.
And Sport1 in Germany report that Liverpool have started talks with his representatives to rival interest from Manchester United.
Bayern would reportedly accept around £43m for Coman, who is reported to be seeking a new challenge.
The 31-cap French international has been in Germany since 2015, initially on loan from Juventus before joining permanently in 2017.
Liverpool are trying to offload a number of players this summer – including Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri.
And Coman would provide another option up front and competition for the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.
The Reds have already signed Ibrahima Konate from Leipzig this summer in a £35m deal as they look to get back on track.
Jurgen Klopp's men finished fourth last season but relinquished their Premier League crown to Manchester City.
Georginio Wijnaldum left the club on a free transfer to join PSG.
