Man City keeper Angus Gunn wanted by Leeds on season-long loan deal after impressive Norwich spell

LEEDS UNITED are tracking Manchester City keeper Angus Gunn, according to reports.

The Championship side are looking to add to their pool of keepers next season for another tilt at promotion.

The 22-year-old made 51 appearances on loan at Norwich last term and United boss Paul Heckingbottom wants him to challenge Bailey Peacock-Farrell for the No1 spot, say the Yorkshire Evening Post.

German keeper Felix Wiedwald was signed last summer for £500,000 to replace veteran stopper Rob Green.

However, Wiedwald, dropped by former boss Thomas Christiansen and Heckingbottom looks to be on his way out of Elland Road after just 12 months with two years left on his current deal.

Gunn, an England Under-21 international and the son of former Scotland keeper Bryan, joined Manchester City from Norwich’s academy two years ago.

Last term was his first taste of senior action and he impressed back at Carrow Road.
