MANCHESTER UNITED target Cody Gakpo has talked up a potential move to the club next year.
The PSV winger said: "Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world, but also for PSV, because to transfer a player to Manchester United is a good thing for the club.
“I like being here, I want to win trophies here and do my best for the club.
“But if I got the chance to go to the Premier League or something, of course I would have to consider that option."
Elsewhere, United icon Cristiano Ronaldo suffered his worst ever Ballon d'Or finish in Paris on Monday night.
The five-time winner came 20th in the ranking while his former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema clinched the trophy.

Rounding out the roster
David de Gea will start between the sticks once again, while deputy Martin Dubravka will return to the bench after being ineligible to face parent club Newcastle.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains sidelined with a muscular injury, with Diogo Dalot in line to start once again.
Luke Shaw is likely to get the nod over Tyrell Malacia at left-back.
While Raphael Varane could replace Victor Lindelof alongside Lisandro Martinez in the centre – with Harry Maguire still out with a thigh injury.
Donny van de Beek remains out with a muscle injury, with stand-in skipper Bruno Fernandes to start in an advanced midfield role ahead of Casemiro and McTominay.
Antony will be selected on the right flank, looking to make it four goals in five Prem outings.
Jadon Sancho is likely to get the nod on the left over Anthony Elanga, with Rashford up top.

Midfield is tricky for Ten Hag
Midfielder Christian Eriksen was unwell last week – missing Sunday's match altogether.
The Dane was reportedly absent from training at Carrington on Monday and is a major doubt for the clash with his former team.
Should Eriksen miss out, he is expected to be replaced in the starting line-up by Scott McTominay.
This will see one of Casemiro or Fred miss out, with the latter likely to be benched.

Greenwood released on bail after facing a month behind bars
Mason Greenwood has today been granted bail ahead of his trial for attempted rape and assault.
On Monday the Manchester United striker, 21, was told he would spend over a month behind bars after initially being denied bail.
But his lawyers overturned the order following a brief private hearing at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court today.
The footballer, who didn't attend the hearing, will be released from prison later today after the decision by judge John Potter.
His bail conditions state that he's not to contact witnesses and must reside at his home address in Bowden, Greater Manchester.
The footballer will make his next appearance at the same Crown Court on November 21.

United's attacking options tonight
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to drop down to the bench against Tottenham after the return to full fitness of Marcus Rashford.
The Portuguese ace was handed his first Prem start since August for Sunday's 0-0 draw with Newcastle.
Ronaldo was hooked for fit-again Rashford during the second-half, furiously shaking his head and muttering as he theatrically left the field.
His blank against the Toon, a week after scoring his 700th club career goal, could see him dropped back down to the bench.
Rashford, who suffered from a short illness last week, should be fit enough to return to the starting XI against Antonio Conte's men.
Anthony Martial, however, is set to miss out with an Achilles issue.

United slammed by Pogba's agent but he admits star let them down
Juventus superstar Paul Pogba’s agent has hit out at Manchester United and admitted the reunion may not have been the best choice for either party.
Pogba’s rep Rafaela Pimenta told The Telegraph: “Did Paul fail Manchester United or did Manchester United fail Paul? Or did they fail each other? These are good questions.
“When Paul went there he won the Europa League [in 2017]. Paul was playing all the time for Manchester United when he was not injured. He did not choose to be injured. But he played when he was not injured.
“Now I think Manchester United is going through a transitional phase. And this transition phase, because there was such an important presence in the club before, that was built around him, when you miss that figure then a club needs time to restructure itself.
“So Manchester United is going through a restructuring phase and I think Paul was part of that phase. They are still going through it and they will make it, I have no doubt but Paul was in the middle of it.
“I think when things don’t happen it’s best to take joint responsibility when there is joint responsibility. You have to acknowledge it. But I don’t think Paul is to blame for things not going as we would have liked them to have gone”

What would a win do for United's league position?
Manchester United are looking to get back to bounce back from Sunday's boring 0-0 draw at home with Newcastle.
Ten Hag's men are welcoming third place Tottenham.
Spurs have lost just one game this season and have netted 22 goals.
Antonio Conte's men brushed aside Everton on Saturday with a 2-0 win.
A win at United would lift Spurs above Manchester City and into second, and place them one point behind table toppers Arsenal.
Three points for United, meanwhile, would see the Red Devils draw level on points with Chelsea.

Ronaldo arrives at training ahead of clash with Spurs
Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo arrived for training heavily guarded by twins as he prepares for Wednesday's clash with Tottenham.
The 37-year-old is enduring a torrid start to the season, netting just two goals in 12 games.
Ronaldo had hoped of sealing a move away from Old Trafford in the summer after United failed to qualify for the Champions League with a sixth-placed finish last term.
However, a lack of suitors saw CR7 stay put and he is largely watching on from the bench with new boss Erik ten Hag preferring Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Ronaldo arrived for training in a bulky £150,000 Cadillac with twin brother bodyguards Sergio and Jorge Ramalheiro close behind in a Range Rover.

Last time out
Seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady came to Old Trafford – billing the match as a showdown between his pal and gridiron fan, Harry Kane, and Cristiano Ronaldo in March.
Ronaldo won that individual duel convincingly and decided the match with a brilliant hat-trick – inspiring United to a 3-2 win when Spurs last traveled to Manchester.
A week after missing a miserable Manchester derby defeat with an alleged hip injury, Ron rolled back the years.
Just when hapless Harry Maguire’s own goal seemed to have condemned United to a morale-sapping draw, the 37-year-old produced a trademark header to complete his 59th career hat-trick and put his team in front for the third, decisive time.
He was substituted moments later, “Viva Ronaldo” swept around the stands in wave after wave and all was well with the world.

Big one tonight
Manchester United take on in-form Tottenham in a highly-anticipated clash at Old Trafford.
Spurs recorded their best EVER start to a Premier League season courtesy of a grueling 2-0 win against Everton.
Goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was enough to see Antonio Conte’s men seal all three points.
But they now come up against Manchester United eager to get back to winning ways after being held to a goalless draw with Newcastle.
And the Red Devils will be determined to keep up their impressive record against Spurs, having won the last three consecutive Premier League matches.

Team news for Tottenham
Manchester United take on Tottenham tonight in the Premier League, and Erik Ten Hag has confirmed some team news ahead of the game.
"Anthony Martial is not available," saidTen Hag. "[With Christian] Eriksen, we have to wait.
"He was just on the pitch. We have to see how he recovers from that and then we will make a decision tomorrow.”
Ten Hag confirmed that Scott McTominay would be back in contention, however.
"It's good to have Scott back. We are happy with that."

Good morning Man Utd fans
Manchester United have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players during Sunday’s goalless draw with Newcastle.
United were found to be in breach of FA Rule E20.1 after Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates protested the decision to disallow the centre-forward’s goal.
Ronaldo thought he had netted a valid goal after the Magpies appeared to take a free-kick deep inside their own half.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and eight of his team-mates then surrounded referee Craig Pawson after he ruled the goal out.
The Portugal skipper was particularly incensed and began shouting and gesticulating at the referee, and he was punished with a yellow card.
The Red Devils have until Thursday to respond to the charge and could also appeal that decision.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister Elma has slammed United boss Erik ten Hag in a brutal Instagram post after her brother was hauled off against Newcastle.
She shared a news article indicating that Ronaldo could leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
And Elma posted: “It’s too late.”
Emojis of disgust accompanied her post as she seems to share the same frustration as her sibling.
And United as well have been dealt a transfer blow with their target Rafael Leao set to sign a new deal with AC Milan.
Leao, 23, who has also been linked with Chelsea, will be rewarded with a long-term contract, according Milan director Frederic Massara.
Quoting Massara, trasfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "We’re confident to reach an agreement with Leao and extend his contract.
"We’ll try to find a solution to proceed with Rafa for long time."
Finally, United have had some good news in regards to their pursuit of Atletico Madrid ace Joao Felix.
Felix, 22, is struggling to start at Atletico and his agent is reportedly exploring a way to get him a move next year.
United have been previously linked with the versatile forward in recent seasons.
Romano said on his Here We Go podcast: “The reality is that on the player’s side – with agent Jorge Mendes – they are trying and exploring the market to find some potential solutions for 2023.”

United target Abraham
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Roma star Tammy Abraham after some impressive performances at the Olimpico.
That is according to GiveMeSport, who claim that Abraham could be on the move to Old Trafford.
The same report claims the Red Devils were interested in pursuing a deal for the ex-Chelsea ace prior to his move to Serie A but turned their attention to Antony.
However, Anthony Martial's injury and Cristiano Ronaldo's future have led to a rekindled interest for the centre-forward

Liverpool target De Jong
Liverpool have joined the bidding war for Barcelona star Frenkie De Jong.
Manchester United tried to sign De Jong, 25, in the summer transfer window, as did Chelsea, and continue to keep tabs on him.
According to SPORT, however, United are set to face competition over the midfielder as the Reds have shown interest.
The Netherlands international didn't appear keen to move to Old Trafford and stayed put at the Nou Camp

Pope on Ronaldo goal
Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope has explained the mix-up at Old Trafford which left Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo fuming after seeing a goal disallowed.
Pope told Chronicle Live: "The free-kick was slightly in the wrong place and obviously Fabby's [Fabian Schar] rolled it back to me and walked off.
"I think you know by everyone's body language that you know he's not meaning to take a free-kick.
"I think the referee sorted it out quickly and fair play to him for making the right decision and squashed it straight away"

Sky's the limit
Manchester United legend Roy Keane isn't suited to modern day management, according to former team-mate Louis Saha.
Saha told BoyleSports Premier League: "I think Keane should consider a return to management. When you are a long-term pundit, sometimes you lose your quality as a manager because they think things are as simple as they see it.
"It will be good for Keane to see things are harder than what he says in his punditry. It will be good to come back to management to realise how hard the job is.
"With all the respect I have for Keane, I do think he will do well. He knows football, but his mentality might not be suited for modern football, the kids nowadays are not the same.
"Football has changed and he will have to adapt. It will be hard to address things the same way, those are the main points he will have to understand, which I don't think he will find easy.
"But when you have that much knowledge to share, it's best to share with a team on a daily basis rather than on punditry or exaggerate his opinions"

More on Pogba
Juventus superstar Paul Pogba's agent Rafaela Pimenta believes the midfielder's move "back home" to Manchester was the "right choice" at the time in 2016.
Pimenta added: “Paul made a choice of the heart, at the time. He really wanted to go back to United.
"The happiness he felt going back was like home. So I am sure it was the right choice.
“Now were there expectations for more trophies and more achievements? Yes, there was. But they didn’t come"

Pogba blame game
Juventus superstar Paul Pogba's agent has hit out at Manchester United and admitted the reunion may not have been the best choice for either party.

More from Ten Hag
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said it was only right the players questioned the decision in the 49th minute of Sunday’s goalless draw against Newcastle at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag added: “First of all, I want to express that: we have always accepted the ref’s decisions and it is also quite normal you ask why in the moment. It was a curious incident, you ask as a team why.
“It was quite obvious the player from Newcastle touched the ball and our players took advantage of it
“My view is finally, quite quick, you have to accept, it's the ref's decision, you accept it and have to move on”

Ten Hag slams FA
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag insists his players did not overreact to referee Craig Pawson despite a charge from the FA.
United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo nicked the ball away from Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope and scored, believing Fabian Schar had made it live by passing a free kick to him.
Pawson ruled the goal out and was surrounded by the Red Devils' players resulting in a club charge that they had "failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion".
Ten Hag said: “I must say I don't think it was too strong, it wasn't really aggressive but I don't know what's happening exactly on the pitch, I was too far away.
“I saw it back on the video. There was a touch from the Newcastle player, quite clear and they went to the ref to ask about.”

Man Utd charged
Manchester United have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players during the goalless Premier League draw with Newcastle on Sunday.
United were found to be in breach of FA Rule E20.1 after Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates protested the decision to disallow the star striker’s goal.
Ronaldo thought he had netted a perfectly valid goal after the Magpies appeared to take a free-kick deep inside their own half.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and eight of his team-mates immediately surrounded referee Craig Pawson after he ruled the goal out.
The Portugal captain was particularly incensed and began shouting and gesticulating at the referee, and he was punished with a yellow card.

Time to go
Manchester United ace Diogo Dalot is among Barcelona’s top transfer targets with the defender open for a move.
Dalot’s contract runs out in June but United have the option to extend for a further year.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca continue to keep tabs on the full-back as manager Xavi’s top priority is to reinforce his defence.
But the Red Devils may be open to letting the Portugal international leave in January as that would help them avoid losing him for free in the summer
The 23-year-old is open to staying at Old Trafford for another season but is also keen on a move to Catalonia
