Man Utd star Cristiano Ronaldo in cryptic post as he says 'road is bumpy and filled with obstacles' days after sub strop

CRISTIANO RONALDO has left Manchester United fans scratching their heads with his latest social media post.

The Red Devils talisman sensationally threw a strop in midweek after being subbed off against Brentford.

And the 36-year-old was later told to cut the attitude in a dressing down by boss Ralf Rangnick.

He played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s last-gasp 1-0 win over West Ham but had fans searching for answers after the final whistle.

Taking to his Instagram account after Marcus Rashford’s late winner, he posted: “One more important win before the Premier League stoppage, one more step towards our goals.

“The road is bumpy and filled with obstacles, but we stand together and working hard to make our supporters proud! Let’s go, Devils!”

Club legend Ronaldo famously returned to Old Trafford last summer after 12 years away.

His comeback trail started with a bang as he scored TWICE on his second debut against Newcastle.

But things have since started to turn sour as the Premier League giants suffered a string of shocking results.

SunSport revealed CR7 could QUIT Manchester if Rangnick’s side fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

And earlier this month the Portugal star hinted his team-mates needed to show they had the mentality to fight for trophies.

United are up to fourth in the table but the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham still have a hatful of games in hand over them.
