Man Utd ‘want Richarlison in summer transfer but face battle with Real Madrid and Barcelona for Everton star’

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison in the summer.

But the Red Devils face competition from LaLiga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid if they are to acquire the Brazilian's signature.

A number of Man Utd forwards futures remain up in the air as we approach the last two months of the season.

Edinson Cavani's contract expires in the summer, Anthony Martial looks set to make his loan departure permanent, and Mason Greenwood has been suspended by the club following his arrest.

Then there is the continual speculation surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo.

And there have also been recent reports that Marcus Rashford is considering leaving following a poor run of form.

As a result, Man Utd have identified their forward line as an area where they need to strengthen ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

And according to Goal, Richarlison is being monitored as a potential target.

The South American has netted 47 times in 142 appearances for the Toffees since arriving from Watford in 2018.

But he now finds himself embroiled in a relegation battle as Frank Lampard's side sit just three points above the drop zone with 11 games remaining.
