MANCHESTER UNITED could finish the season with a cup double and Champions League spot.
But they could also finish outside the top four and just a League Cup to their name, despite being genuine title contenders at the turn of the year.

Regardless of how they finish the campaign, Erik ten Hag looks set to be busy again in the summer and that work could start in the forward line, with United not having a consistent, out-and-out centre forward.
Ladbrokes have revealed their SEVEN most likely incomings, and ranked who is favourite to join the Old Trafford side in the summer.
Harry Kane – 2/1
Looks like one that could rumble on throughout the summer with the England skipper surely set to quit Spurs this summer.
Have been strongly linked with a move to United in the past, despite seemingly being close to joining rivals City last year.
That ship has sailed and United could be set to go all out to bag Kane this summer after what would be an excellent goal scoring campaign if Erling Haaland wasn't kicking about.
Victor Osmihen – 5/1
Another player who will be linked with moves away all summer after a title-winning campaign with Napoli.
Has two years left on his deal in Naples and has banged in 28 goals in 35 games across all competitions this season.
Has had his injury problems which might well put one or two off should big money be mentioned to lure him away.
Kylian Mbappe – 9/1
What a signing this one would be….
Signed a short extension to stay at PSG, with Real Madrid always likely to be his next destination.
Could United swoop and tempt him to the Premier League? Could make a Haaland-like contribution if so.
Nearly a double figure price but certainly one to keep fans excited.
Most likely Man Utd striker signings

Tammy Abraham – 12/1
Has featured prominently in a Roma side in the Europa League semi finals and chasing Europe in Serie A again.
Just the eight goals in 34 appearances in the league this year after a breakthrough 17 goals last season.
Under contract until 2026 so could be a pricey gamble for a player who went for £34million in the 2021 summer window.
Ollie Watkins – 16/1
The Aston Villa man has been in sparkling form since the restart after the World Cup.
Has hit 14 goals in 34 league appearances which has Bayern Munich reportedly interested in him. Also bagged a Villa record of five consecutive games in finding the net.
Two years left on his deal at Villa Park and the 27-year-old is a big price at 16/1.
Neymar – 16/1
With Lionel Messi on the way out of PSG, could his old pal Neymar follow him out the door?
That's what the PSG ultras want, with reports he could be set to quit the club as well this summer.
Mbappe more likely to join United judging by the odds but with some Brazilians in the United side already, it's probably not completely out the question, despite the 16/1 odds.
Callum Wilson – 20/1
Another English striker in the market though this one at much bigger odds.
A record-breaking April for Callum Wilson at Newcastle as he shares duties up top with Alexander Isak.
The 31-year-old is into double figures for the season with 15 goals in 27 games and only has 12 months left on his St James' Park contract.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Man United are in desperate need of a world class striker to lead the line, and the latest odds suggest a move for Harry Kane is still very much on the cards this summer… while Victor Osmihen is hardly a bad back-up."
