MESUT OZIL had a thinly-veiled dig at Unai Emery, claiming Mikel Arteta is getting the old style back.

Arsenal’s midfielder, 31, was frozen out by Emery at the start of this season, making just four Premier League appearances.

But Ozil is back in favour under Arteta and has made double that amount of Prem outings since Emery was axed at the end of November.

Arteta has lost just one of his five games in charge. And the German believes the new boss will bring success and a swagger back to the Emirates.

Ozil said: “It is basically getting us back to the old Arsenal virtues.

“Fighting and having possession, being in control of the game, having the ball all the time.
