TOKYO – The embattled president of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic organising committee Yoshiro Mori, who said last week that meetings “drag on” because women “talk too much”, is expected to resign on Friday (Feb 12) amid palpable anger both at home and abroad over the sexist remarks.
“I must apologise again for this matter,” Mori, 83, told Nippon TV on Thursday.
