CARLO ANCELOTTI has revealed his plan to stop Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland.
Real Madrid take on the Citizens in the Champions League tonight in a replay of last season's semi-final.
Madrid ran out as winners last year after a thrilling 6-5 aggregate win over the two legs.
However, this time around City have Haaland, who has been in frightening goalscoring form this season.
The Norweigan striker has netted 51 goals in all competitions this season and will hope to fire Pep Guardiola's side to Champions League glory this season.
But manager Ancelotti has devised a plan to stop the forward that involves starting Luka Modric alongside two other midfielders.

The Italian will also use Eduardo Camavinga as a wing-back rather than his traditional position in the midfield.
The hope could be to limit the service into Haaland and limit his involvement in the match.
Modric missed Madrid's last three games but was confirmed fit by Ancelotti as he divulged his tactics.
He said: "He’s fine. He’ll play tomorrow.

"Modric and two others [in midfield]. [Eduardo] Camavinga plays as a wing-back without the ball.
"With the ball, he changes and moves into central midfield.
"Sometimes, he even plays between the lines. He’s not a full-back who pushes forward on the outside.
"Out wide, we have Vinicius, who is quite dangerous. He’s only a full-back when we don’t have the ball."
But Los Blancos fans are concerned that Ancelotti has revealed to much and that Guardiola will plan accordingly.
One anxious fan tweeted: "Carlo Ancelotti has released our starting XI and all the tactics during his press conference 😭😭😭."
A second wrote: "I thought I was the only one who noticed that 😂😂😭😭."
A third hoped: "I doubt that press conference information can be that much useful for the opposition’s analysts, at the top level at least."
