    Broja one of Europe’s best

Armando Broja will not leave Stamford Bridge this week despite interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

Everton, Newcastle, West Ham and Southampton have all been linked with a move for the Albanian international ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

However, Chelsea’s new ownership regard the player extremely highly with the Athletic stating that they believe him to be ‘one of Europe’s best young strikers.’

As a result, Broja can expect game time with the Blues in the coming months – although that will not slow down the club’s search for a new centre-forward.

    No Neto deal for Gunners

Arsenal had hoped to seal a deal for Wolves’ Pedro Neto ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline but that is now ‘highly improbable’.

That’s this morning’s take from The Athletic, who believes Wanderers have no intention of selling one of their prize assets.

It is believed that it would take an offer in excess of £50m to even bring the Molineux club to the negotiating table.

That is seen as unrealistic for the Gunners, who are now prepared to look elsewhere.

Neto has started all four Premier League games this season, but has yet to register a goal or an assist.

    Wolves prepare second Kalajdzic offer

Wolverhampton Wanderers will this week make a second bid for Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic.

The Molineux outfit saw their opening €15m proposal rejected by the Bundesliga club earlier this month.

However, Wolves' start to the season has again highlighted their shortage of firepower in attack with just two goals scored so far.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Stuttgart are prepared to sell their six foot seven forward but are holding out for at least a €20m fee.

Kalajdzic is understood to be open to the idea of the Premier League with personal terms not expected to be an issue.

    'Second thoughts' on Auba deal

The Athletic are this morning reporting that Chelsea are having 'second thoughts' over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Blues have been in discussions with Barcelona for a month over the former Arsenal forward, but talks may now be nearing an end.

An offer of £15m was made by the Premier League club, but it remains some way off from the LaLiga giants' valuation of the 33-year-old.

And contrary to reports earlier in August, Chelsea are yet to agree terms with Aubameyang, meaning the transfer is looking increasingly unlikely.

    Wes: The med's in America

Chelsea have sent Wesley Fofana to the United States to undergo a stringent medical ahead of his £75m switch to Stamford Bridge.

The Leicester centre-back flew out to America on Sunday, having missed the weekend game against the Blues with the transfer between the two imminent.

The young Frenchman has already agreed personal terms on a six-year deal with the Londoners, but the club want 'additional peace of mind' according to The Athletic.

Fofana suffered a serious broken leg and injured ankle ligaments in a pre-season friendly last August that ruled him out for seven months.

It was confirmed late last night that the two clubs had agreed a deal that could eventually be worth up to £84m for the winger.

And in a sneak preview of the transfer being wrapped up, the player’s agent posted a new story on Instagram.

Junior Pedrosa simply said ‘Here we go!’, echoing the catchphrase of transfers expert Fabrizio Romano when a new deal is set to be announced.

Bayer Leverkusen have this morning agreed a loan deal with Chelsea for Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old winger will move to the BayArena for the season after the two clubs settled on terms regarding the temporary move.

The switch had been in danger of falling through over the weekend when the Blues rejected the Bundesliga club's demand for an option to buy to be structured into the contract.

Hudson-Odoi has yet to feature for Chelsea this season despite being named on the bench for the last three Premier League games.

"I told him I need a top player like you on the bench and afterwards he makes his decision. He was in the squad list and he didn’t come. He wants to force something I think.”
