LIVERPOOL star Sadio Mane got his name on the score-sheet as he helped Senegal record a 2-0 victory over Tunisia in the African Cup of Nations.
The 2002 runners-up begin their campaign in Group B in the best possible way, as Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji completed the win in the 30th minute.
But despite eventually getting the three points, they almost fell behind in just the second minute to the North African's, as Ahmed Akaichi's header skimmed the post.
But just eight minutes later, West Ham's central midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate was brought down in the box, which left Mane to clinically dispatch.
Tunisia almost found themselves on level terms, but once again Akaichi failed to hit the target, as his shot went narrowly wide.
The second came on the half hour mark when Mbodji scored with a powerful header to send the Lions of Teranga into jubilation.
Tunisia, the 2004 champions will be left furious that they never found the back of the net, as Youssef Msakni was guilty of missing from two yards out with a header when it looked easier to score.
