ROMA coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed he is interested in West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli.
The Algerian has started only one Premier League game this season – when he was controversially sent off against Manchester United.
Feghouli, 27, arrived from Valencia on a free transfer in the summer but has struggled to make his way into Slaven Bilic's – who has two games to save his job – plans.
He has started only five of West Ham's 28 matches, coming off the bench in another nine.
The Algerian international is yet to score and has just one assist.
But Spalletti – who has Roma second in Serie A and challenging for the title – has confirmed he is looking at the winger as Mohamed Salah is off the the Africa Cup of Nations.
He told Italian media: "As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think this team need new players.
"That’s the squad I chose last summer and I’m happy with these players.
"I haven’t asked new signings.
"Saying that, Salah will be playing the Africa Cup of nations and we nay need a replacement."
