He hosted ITV's coverage of Euro 2016, and has also been presenting the Six Nations rugby since 2016, and also the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Before that though he spent TWENTY-TWO YEARS, where he cut his teeth presenting for BBC Radio 5 Live.

He also joined BT Sport in the summer of 2016 to host the show BT Sport Score, to rival Sky Sports' Gillette Soccer Saturday.

Pougatch will present ITV's live coverage of Euro 2020 with fellow presenters Seema Jaswal and Reshmin Chowdhury, and they will be joined by the likes of Ian Wright, Gary Neville, Eni Aluko, Ashley Cole and Patrick Vieira who will work as pundits for the tournament.

As well as ITV's live coverage, Pougatch is set to host twelve Euro 2020 special episodes of the ITV Football Show podcast alongside Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend.

Speaking to ITV's Euro 2020 live coverage on what he's most looking forward to about the tournament, Pougatch said:

"Fans, I don't know how many we're going to have but we've seen with a few games at the end of the season just what a difference it makes.

"Also I think that certainly in the games in in the UK I think every fan is almost going to incorporate the body of the two or three who are not allowed to be there and I think I certainly expect for England v Scotland it's going to sound like there's almost 80,000 there."

Euro 2020 gets underway on June 11 as Turkey take on Italy in Group A, but ITV's first live game is not until the day after, with Pougatch set to present the Group B clash between Belgium and Russia.

Kick off for that one is 8pm on June 12.
