THE Masters could be set for a rare Monday finish at Augusta National this year.
Golf's most prestigious 4-day tournament traditionally starts on a Thursday and ends on a Sunday.
However, this year's second round was affected by horrific weather conditions meaning we could see a delayed finish.
The storms started on Friday at 11am (7am EST) and got progressively worse up to 8pm (4pm EST), with wind picking up pace after 5pm (1pm EST).
Saturday's conditions at Augusta haven't been ideal either with play now suspended for the rest of the day.

The Masters was on course for a Monday finish but the third round resumed at 1:30pm BST.

While the fourth and final round is scheduled to get underway at 5:30pm BST.
Currently, Brooks Koepka is leading at the Masters at -13 under par, four strokes in front of World No.3 Jon Rahm at -9 under par.

And there has been just five occasions where the Green Jacket winner has been decided on a Monday.
The last time the Masters finished on a Monday was in 1983 due to heavy rainfall which started on the opening day right through to the Saturday.
Nevertheless, golf legend Seve Ballesteros won his second Green Jacket in four years, beating Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite by four strokes.
