‘World’s sexiest athlete’ Alica Schmidt stuns in figure-hugging dress as she hits the town for New Year celebration | The Sun

THE "world's sexiest athlete" Alica Schmidt stunned on New Year's Eve in a figure-hugging dress as she hit the town with friends to celebrate.

The German athlete, 24, sets pulses racing regularly, whether she is on or off the running track.

And instead of working up a sweat in training, Schmidt slipped into a figure-hugging dress for New Year's Eve.

The blonde bombshell told fans to "have a great night", as she hit the town with friends.

One of Schmidt's New Year's resolutions will undoubtedly be to train harder as she eyes a German Olympic spot.

According to the World Athletics organisation's site, Alica is ranked at 64 in the world rankings for 400m.

She told SunSport last October: "My goal is to make it to the Olympics in Paris in 2024 and become faster."

Schmidt also says the sacrifices she's had to make will be worth it in the end.

She said: "It’s an amazing thing about passion. If you love something, if you have a strong passion for something, it will get you out of bed, and you make extreme measures to chase the goal.

"Being on the track, trying to push my myself to the absolute limit, that’s the feeling I live for.

"It means that I have to sacrifice a lot of things yes, but to me it’s absolutely worth it, as I need athletics to live and breathe.

"I will do everything it takes to become faster and faster. I train almost every single day, sometimes twice a day.

"If you have a dream just go for it and don’t compromise on it.

"I've never really allowed anyone to tell me what I was capable of accomplishing and I give everything I have into every single training session."
