WWE legend Trish Stratus insists she's ‘always ready’ after being called out for wrestling return by Sasha Banks

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has teased an in-ring return after being called out by Sasha Banks.

Stratus has been semi-retired ever since 2006 but has still competed in several high-profile matches in recent years.

The seven-time women's champion has been challenged to yet another main-event worthy encounter against Banks, who claims she's ready for the wrestling legend.

The Boss even went as far as to claim that the Canadian superstar has been "dodging" her in recent years.

Banks toldWWE's The Bump show: "I’m waiting for Trish, it’s all on her!

"I feel like she’s been dodging me, she’s been not answering my calls.

"I’m all game, I’m all ready – I’m always ready, I stay ready.

"So, whenever Trish is ready for me, she knows where to find me.

"It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll, Trish!"

Stratus caught wind of Banks' challenge and immediately responded on social media.

The 45-year-old WWE great shared a picture of her toned abs on Twitter and captioned it with the following tweet: "#AlwaysReady."

Stratus is considered as one of the pioneers behind the evolution of women's wrestling as she stood out in the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression era with some legendary bouts against Lita, Victoria, Jazz and many more.

The ex-Hardcore Champion hasn't competed since SummerSlam 2019 when she lost to Charlotte Flair.

Stratus and Banks teased a match down the line when they had an intense moment during the first ever Women's Royal Rumble Match in 2018, which led to a brawl.
