Tammy Slaton is used to speaking her mind on her tv show and in real life. Anyone who has watched 1000-lb Sisters  knows that both she and her sister, Amy Slaton, say what they want to each other and everyone else. So, when 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy found herself in danger of being “canceled” by the internet, she let fans know she wasn’t going to take that easily.

‘1000-lb Sisters’ star Tammy Slaton’s in trouble now

1000-lb Sisters Season 2 was wildly popular. So, Slaton sought to profit off of the show’s success by selling 1000-lb Sisters merchandise. She partnered with a man named Quincy who she would go live with on Instagram and promote the products. As time went on, fans noticed that the artists behind the merchandise weren’t getting paid and that there was no clear way to buy the merchandise, rather customers were instructed to “donate” on the site.

After receiving backlash, Quincy tried to clarify what was going on.

“Let me clarify everything, we just started the merch shop and we had our shop button and cart feature on there but since we can’t accept any cash payment because we aren’t verified for online retailing yet,” Quincy wrote in an Instagram story captured here. “Also another thing all people who make art work don’t ask to get paid but to simply get a follow or noticed by Tammy!!”

But Quincy’s claims about the artists turned out to be untrue as several tried to get their work removed from the site.

“I wasn’t being unfair at all, just saying how my artwork is being passed off as someone else’s when I spent time doing it, and I’ve now been blocked yet my design is still up on your website, not really fair at all, all I wanted was credit for it, that’s all,” wrote one artist on Instagram.

Tammy won’t get canceled

Lately, people have been claiming that Slaton has been accepting money for Cameos but not actually fulfilling the orders. Now, the 1000-lb Sisters star has addressed the rumors and has a message for people who are trying to “get rid” of her.

“Y’all thought y’all could get rid of me?” she said laughing in a TikTok. “I’m not that easy to get rid of. That’s right baby. I am back. And…got banned for not doing Cameos…the f*ck…the f*ck. Someone blocked me or someone reported me saying I was making inappropriate videos. How? I mean I literally just show my face. Literally. They said I was 13. I’m 34. You tried, but you failed. I’m back.”

Tammy’s rumored boyfriend thebbwking commented on the video, “She ain’t going nowhere. We got this.”

Tammy made a follow-up video to thebbwking’s comment.

“I’m taking over,” she said. “Point blank period.”

‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 3

It is unclear what Tammy meant when she said she was “taking over,” but it is true that the reality star isn’t going anywhere as the show was approved for a third season.

“Tammy and Amy Slaton have captivated us with their fun-loving personalities, heartfelt challenges, and uplifting victories,” Alon Orstein, SVP Production and Development at TLC said, according to Deadline. “We admire their genuine, evolving journeys and we are rooting for them as they pursue paths toward healthier lifestyles.”
