UK are 'international laughing stock' says Ayesha Hazarika

During Friday’s Good Morning Britain, Kate Garraway and Adil Ray spoke with Kirsty Buchanan, the former advisor to Liz Truss, and Ayesha Hazarika about the events that unfolded in government yesterday. They also discussed the latest reports on the energy crisis, with Ayesha labelling it a “car crash”.

However, Adil left viewers frustrated after many accused the host of trying to “interrupt” Ayesha and Kirsty when trying to speak.

Taking to Twitter, Brenda raged: “Why have guests on the show and just interrupt and talk over them? Very unprofessional.”

Alison Chitty replied: “That’s Adil Ray all over, he is useless as an interviewer he wants his say and everyone to agree with him.”

Michael Killington fumed: “Get over yourself Adil Trying to be the new Piers? Stop flaming ranting and not letting people speak.”

While Micky Bpyce claimed to “switch off” during the interview, he tweeted: “Turned off as soon as Adil Ray starts talking.”

“Does Adil ever be quiet to let his guests talk or even let Kate speak instead of his constant arguing and shouting at people?” Judith questioned.

Lee Penrice added: “Can that man not let people speak? Trying to be the new Morgan, not even close.”

Phill Sissons went on to comment: “Please stop Adil ray sarcastically laughing at everything to do with the government. It’s not a joke!!”

Although, some fans agreed with Adil’s thoughts about Liz Truss and the government, as Debby Field said: “Well said Adil @GMB. Folks expect politicians and a Govt that acts with integrity and cares for and protects all of its citizens. More of this Westminster shenanigans will destroy people’s faith in democracy.”
