This Morning hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were in for quite the shock when they were interrupted by loud crashes from construction workers during their live morning show.

Whilst presenting their ITV chat show show today (21 May), Dermot and Alison were barely halfway through a segment with co-star Josie Gibson about London's 5 star hotel The Langham when things went quickly downhill.

Josie had begun talking about her luxury hotel trip saying: "Well it's so windy out here, I can't wait to get to get in for my five-star treatment Dermot…".

But then she was promptly cut off by a loud crashing noise from nearby construction workers and burst out laughing at the unexpected blooper, with Alison crying out: "What's that noise? What are they doing to the building?".

Dermot then joked, "That's next week's challenge", referring to Josie's interrupted segment.
