TLC viewers are gushing over Amy Slaton’s “stunning” appearance at sister Tammy’s wedding in the latest episode of 1000lb Sisters. She underwent a complete transformation for the ceremony which almost descended into chaos after Amy made an awkward blunder just moments into her speech.
Amy had her hair styled differently and wore a beautiful orange dress for her reality star sibling’s nuptials with rehab romance Caleb Willingham.
Tammy’s wedding plays out during Tuesday’s episode 10 of 1000lb Sister’s fourth season after cameras filmed her special day.
One preview for the episode shows the moment Amy drank what appeared to be a bottle of alcohol before launching into her speech.
As bride Tammy sat and watched, wedding guests laughed when Amy seemed to forget the last name of her sister’s new husband.
“You’ve always been my big sister,” Amy began her speech. “We’ve always been Amy and Tammy, Amy and Tammy, the Slaton sisters.”
She continued: “But now it’s like, Amy Halterman and Tammy—what was your last name? I’m sorry.”
Tammy awkwardly reminded her sibling, saying: “Willingham.”
Struggling to pronounce the name after being told, Amy told producers: “Wilmington.”
Reacting in an emotional confessional clip, Amy admitted: “It’s not us no more. We’re not the Slaton sisters no more.”
“It’s just butter sweet,” she adds, “to end that era.”
While it was clearly an emotional day for everyone involved, viewers couldn’t help but be distracted by Amy’s striking appearance.

The ceremony comes after Amy’s reported “split” from her own husband Michael Halterman.
