Britain's Most Expensive Houses viewers blast show for 'the most hideous and ridiculous properties yet'

BRITAIN’S Most Expensive Houses viewers have ridiculed the series for showcasing the “most hideous” properties seen on the show yet.

Fans of the series have been given a glimpse inside some of the UK’s most extraordinary homes over the last couple of weeks – but some aren’t impressed.

The demand for houses skyrocketed in the summer as the international super-rich began their return to the UK.

All this, and more, is documented on a new series of the Channel 4 programme, which goes behind the scenes of high-end estate agent Sotheby’s International Realty.

The most extravagant house that UK Sotheby’s International Realty is aiming to sell to its ultra wealthy clients on the show is surely the £75million London mansion featured in the finale.

However, many viewers of the popular show have slammed it, with some claiming the properties are getting “more ridiculous by the week”.

Taking to Twitter, one disgruntled viewer penned: “Imagine buying a £12million penthouse and it doesn’t even include a kitchen – or proper walls.”

Echoing their comments someone else said: “Watching Britain's Most Expensive Homes and, well, money cannot buy taste."

While a third and, perhaps, slightly envious viewer added: “Are they happy with all that space? Absolutely ridiculous."
