Will Young was a guest in the BBC Breakfast studio on Thursday morning and was thrilled to see Carol Kirkwood. Wanting to show his love for the meteorologist, the singer leapt out of his seat to plant a kiss on the screen behind him which showed Carol. Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty couldn’t contain their laughter as Carol was left flustered by the event.

Charlie asked: “Will, would you like to serenade Carol?”

“Hi Will,” Carol shouted from the screen behind the singer who began to croon: “I can see clearly now Carol’s arrived.”

Both Carol and Naga could be seen laughing as Will continued: “Oh, you’re just amazing. I’m going to kiss you.”

Will leapt out of his seat and rushed over the screen to plant a kiss on Carol’s face.

Naga directed Carol on which way to turn her head: “Turn right Carol, oh no, the other way, left.”

“That has made my day Will,” Carol told the singer as he turned to Naga and Charlie for directions off set.

As he walked off, Will shouted: “Love you Carol!” while the meteorologist commented: “You too Will.

“Oh, be still my beating heart. I’m all flustered now. Good morning everybody. I’m going to expect this every time now. Every single time.”
