Chris Brown looks sullen at daughter Royalty's pony-themed 7th birthday after looking unrecognizable at Drake's party

CHRIS Brown appeared downtrodden at his daughter's birthday after fans deemed him "unrecognizable" at Drake's Billboard Awards afterparty.

The singer showed up to Drake's event with a brand new hairstyle, looking slim in an all-black outfit.

Chris, 32, donned a sad expression on Thursday as he rang in his daughter Royalty's seventh birthday.

The rapper wore a tie dye long sleeved shirt, matching turquoise pants and vest while holding a red solo cup at the event.

The Go Crazy producer wrapped his arm around his child while she rode a painted pony in a pink dress.

In a second black and white photo, Chris looked down at the ground hiding his face in a baseball cap as he captioned the post: "ME AND MY BEST FRIEND ❤️ @missroyaltybrown."

The Virginia native shares Royalty with Nia Guzman, 37, and his son Aeko, 17 months, with model Ammika Harris, 28.

Fans were shocked by the controversial star's new hair after he arrived at Drake's Billboard Music Awards afterparty on Sunday night.

The father of two left his locks wild on top of his head, and they were tinged with a hint of light purple for the occasion.

Chris wore all-black as he walked from the limo to the venue and paparazzi caught glimpse of his new look.

The R&B artist shared happy birthday wishes to his girlfriend last week alongside a photo of her looking glam and one of her giving birth to their son in 2019.

Despite his current relationship status, the Exclusive singer has had his fair share of love and legal troubles over the years.

Chris's most famous incident occurred in 2009 when he brutally assaulted Rihanna during a fight in his car.

A police report of the incident read: "Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand.

"He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand.

"The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle."

However, Chris avoided any prison time as he agreed to five years of probation and domestic violence counseling.

Since then he has had altercations with fellow singers, completed stints in rehab and gone to jail for violating probation.

In 2016 he was accused of threatening a woman with a gun at his home in Tarzana, California.

The singer held a nine-hour standoff with the police then facing arrest on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

A year later, Chris's ex girlfriend Karrueche Tran filed a restraining order against him after claiming he had threatened her with violence.

in 2017 the musician allegedly punched a photographer at a Tampa nightclub, resulting in a 2018 arrest once he returned to Florida.

In April of 2021, the Indigo singer was sued by his former housekeeper after his dog "viciously attacked" her sister and "bit her face."

Despite their tumultuous and violent relationship, Rihanna has since moved on and has been dating ASAP Rocky for the past year.

The rapper has called the makeup mogul the "love of his life," and in an interview with GQ he gushed about his affection.

In an impressive cover shoot and spread, the New York native told the outlet: "I think when you know, you know."
