Coronation Street fans think they have figured out the cause behind Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby's car crash on the ITV soap.
Viewers were left heartbroken on Wednesday after Imran died in a devastating twist following his mystery car crash with Toyah.
At first, Imran played the hero after the crash as he rescued wife Toyah from the wreckage of the car and got her to safety, begging her not to die.
However, in a shocking twist on the ITV soap, Imran later collapsed and died due to his injuries sustained from the car crash.
Viewers will recall that during Monday's episode, Kevin Webster tampered with their car to stop them driving off with baby Alfie so Abi, who lost custody of her son recently, could escape with him.
While Tuesday's episode saw an impatient Imran retrieve his car from the closed garage in a bid to stop Toyah from reporting Abi to the police after they rumbled her escape plan.
During Thursday's episode, the police revealed that the car crash appeared to be caused by the brakes not working with Kevin and Abi questioned over what had happened the vehicle… but it was revealed at the end that the brakes were actually fine.
However, soap watchers think Toyah, who can't remember anything, is actually behind the car crash and it was due to Imran telling her that he lied about Abi in the custody hearing, leaving her fearing she would lose Alfie.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Ooh did Toyah cause the crash #Corrie."
A different account put: "Listen to what Toyah says and it’s obvious how this accident happened. Imran told her what he did and knowing she’d be losing both kids, deliberately rammed the car into the building. #Corrie."
